Most accident reports are available through the internet. This is our preferred method of report distribution. If you need a copy of an accident report, this may be your most convenient way to obtain it. From our report search page, you will be able to search for your report, view it and print it in the convenience of your home or office.

We currently charge a fee of $6.00 for copies of the reports online. You can pay for your reports through this secure site with a credit card or you may contact PoliceReports at (800) 849-0190 to see if you qualify for a prepaid account.

All accident reports should be available the within 3 working days following the date of the accident. Accident reports are also available at the New Braunfels Police Department for a fee of $6.00. Payment must be made by check, cash, or money order. 

Driver's Crash Report (blue form) - The driver of a motor vehicle involved in a crash not investigated by a law enforcement officer may utilize this form to report the incident. Please read the instructions provided to ensure that your situation falls within the prescribed guidelines. You may print the Driver's Crash Report or complete it online.

Private Property Accident Form - As a courtesy the New Braunfels Police Department provides these forms to assist motorists in providing information to their insurance companies. These forms may only be used when an accident occurs on private property and is not required to be reported to the State of Texas.

Police Reports
Copies of police reports may be obtained by bringing a completed copy of the request for public information to the New Braunfels Police Department. Reports may be obtained Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
